Channel: ESPN3 and ESPN (championship game on ESPN)
The Big South regular season came down to a wild finish, with dozens of different tiebreaker options on the table. Winthrop and UNC Asheville emerged as co-champs for the season, but now it all comes down to the conference tournament. There are several different teams that could easily win the title and head to the big dance, with UNCA and Winthrop obviously the favorites. But Liberty or Gardner Webb could win just as easily. If you’re a fan of a Big South school, you’re going to want to make sure you catch every game.
Here’s the Big South Tournament schedule: The Big South quarterfinals and semifinals will be played at the No. 1 seed on Thursday to Friday, March 2 to 3 on ESPN3, with the highest remaining seed hosting the championship game on Sunday, March 5 at 1 p.m. on ESPN. This will be the first Big South title game appearance on ESPN since 2007.
The Big South Tournament will air on ESPN and ESPN3 (click here for a guide to watching ESPN online and here to watch ESPN3 online), but that doesn’t mean you need cable to watch.
