One of the services we mention quite a bit is fuboTV. This makes sense because it’s a leader in sports streaming entertainment. However, since we talk about it so much, that means we also get a lot of questions about it. People want to know how fuboTV works. So, in the spirit of the question, how does fuboTV work, we’re going to answer some of the most common questions we receive for you, in this guide.
What is fuboTV:
fuboTV is a live streaming service that started out as a way to stream sports without cable. It can be notoriously difficult to stream sports without a cable subscription. However, fuboTV has made it easier to get everything from regional baseball games to nationwide basketball with NBA TV and even European soccer. They also offer cycling, extreme sports content, and golf. Basically, if you want sports content, you’ll find plenty of it here.
In an attempt to diversify they have also added non-sports channels. You can also watch Lifetime, History, A&E, Syfy, Hallmark, Nat Geo Wild, LMN, FOX News, MSNBC, fuse, Oxygen, and others. The main package is $35 and contains a large mix of sports and other entertainment. You can also add on channels to go into your main package. Our fuboTV review has more information. Using this service, you’ll find that how fuboTV works is not much different than other streaming services. The difference is in the sports-centric content.
How Does fuboTV Work?
fuboTV, which includes a free one-week trial, runs off the Internet. This means you don’t need any special cable box or subscription to make it work. You can sign up through an app or on your computer. You can watch it at home or on-the-go, if you have Wi-fi.
Basically, you’ll sign up for fuboTV and that starts your free trial. You’ll be able to login to your account on any of the available devices (more on that shortly) and this will allow you to choose your channel and the show you’d like to watch. You just turn it on and you’re good to go. The interface is like cable, so it shouldn’t be too much of a change from what you’re used to with other streaming services.
What Devices Work with fuboTV?
The short answer to that is that many devices will work with fuboTV. If you’re connected to the Internet via either a home connection or wi-fi you will be able to watch fuboTV on the following devices:
- Android Smartphones/tablets
- Apple TV
- Amazon Fire TV
It’s also worth noting that you can run two streams concurrently on any fuboTV membership. This means that you and a family member or someone sharing your account can watch different things at the same time without there being interference. However, more than two streams are not allowed.
