Disney+ ReviewAre you curious about all this Disney+ talk going on? It seems like everyone is a part of this network of Disney fans who know everything about all the obscure and hard to find movies and shows that are now available through the Disney+ platform. If you have already cut the cord and use Roku for streaming, how can you watch Disney Plus on Roku? Here’s what we know.

What is Disney+

Disney Plus is the brand-new streaming services from Disney that has all of their content in one convenient place. Disney owns so much, so it’s also the only streaming service for Star Wars and Marvel shows and movies.

Watch Disney Plus+ on Roku with These Models

If you already have a Roku player, or you want to get a new system, there’s good news. Disney+ can be streamed using the Roku platform. We recommend one of the newer models and some of the older ones will no longer be supported by a variety of services in the near future.

These Roku devices support Disney+:

  • Roku 4: 4670X, 4662X, 4661X, 4660X, 4640X, 4630X, 4620X, 4400X, 4230X, 4210X, 4200X
  • Roku 3: 3931X, 3930X, 3921X, 3920X, 3910X, 3900X, 3811X, 3810X, 3800X, 3710X, 3700X, 3600X, 3500X
  • Roku 2: 2720X, 2710X, 2700X
  • All Roku TVs
  • Roku Express

Unfortunately, that means some won’t be supported. You can’t watch Disney+ if  you have Roku Streaming Stick 3400X, 3420X, Roku HD 2500X, Roku 2 HD 3000X, 3050X, Roku 2 XS 3100X, Roku LT 2400X, or 2450X.

Simple Step-by-Step Guide to Streaming Disney Plus on Roku

Next, start up your Roku device and go to your home screen. Select the menu option for Streaming Channels and search in that menu for Disney+. Once you find it, select it and then click on Add Channel. This will put the app for Disney+ directly on your home screen.

On the Roku, open the App and enter your credentials to log in.
