Disney fans finally have the news they’ve been waiting for. Dozens of classic Disney films will soon be available for streaming. The lucky streaming service? Hulu.
So far, Disney movies have made their way only to Netflix (and they’ll continue to do so with new releases). But the release of a sizable chunk of their classic collection is something that’s sure to get fans excited. Most of these films have only been accessible on DVD until now.
All of the titles as a part of this deal give Hulu exclusive streaming on demand rights, meaning these won’t be available anywhere else.
Some of the Disney films that will soon be available for streaming are:
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- The Mighty Ducks
- Sister Act
- Air Bud
- Step Up
- Lilo & Stitch
- The Emperor’s New Groove,
- Muppet Treasure Island
- The Princess and the Frog
Hulu has added a few new films to their library already, with more expected to come over the net few months. The new Disney films are just another step in Hulu’s quest to become more kid and friendly, following a move earlier this month where they announced the ability for people to create their own profiles (including kid’s profiles with limited content).
