nba league passFollowing the NBA can be tough given the number of teams and games in each season. Broadcast and network TV carry quite a few NBA games each night, but if you want to catch every tip-off and free-throw, the only way is with NBA League Pass. League Pass is the only official streaming service offered by the National Basketball Association and lets you stream nearly every non-local game live or on-demand. If you’ve been wondering what NBA League Pass has to offer, Amazon Prime has some good news for you: this week, Amazon is offering NBA League Pass for free. What are you waiting for?

Amazon is offering NBA League Pass on its Amazon Prime Video Channels, the premium channels which can be purchased in addition to the video content which streams with the base Amazon Prime membership. Amazon already streams the NFL’s Thursday Night Football, and rumor has it that Amazon is looking to start streaming more sports in the future.

NBA League Pass will stream free for all Prime members through December 20th. After the free trial period, Amazon will offer League Pass for $28.99 a month or just $169 for the entire season. Note, though, that games that are televised nationally aren’t available or are in-market local games. Most other games which aren’t available live are available for streaming around 72 hours after their airtime.

If you need more basketball in your life and have been on the fence about trying out NBA League Pass, now’s your chance. Hurry though, this one’s only good through the end of the week!
