Following the success of documentary crime shows like “Making a Murderer,” Netflix is looking to capitalize off Amanda Knox, the American woman who was accused of murdering her roommate while studying abroad in Italy nine years ago.
The story — “a sex game gone wrong” — was perfect fodder for the tabloids and was well documented in the mainstream media.
Netflix recently released two trailers of the forthcoming documentary called “Believe Her.” The other is called “Suspect Her.”
The documentary is available to stream Sept. 30.
