Next month, Ricky Gervais will be back in The Office. Well, not quite, but he is returning to one of his best-known roles. In the Netflix original film David Brent: Life on the Road, Gervais will be reprising the role that became an icon of cringe-inducing comedy. Life on the Road will catch up with the former general manager of the Slough branch of the Wernham-Hogg Paper Company, over a decade after the events of the original U.K. cult hit The Office.

Anyone who’s seen the original British version of The Office (which inspired the American version starring Steve Carell) knows that David Brent was convinced that he was destined for greater things than managing the regional branch of a paper company. And they also know that he definitely, definitely does not have the talent, drive, or charisma to back up those beliefs. So, where is David Brent, all these years later? Would you believe he’s trying to be a rock star? Sounds about right. Check out the trailer for Netflix’s David Brent: Life on the Road.

Gervais wrote, directed, and stars as Brent. Life on the Road follows “a documentary crew catching up with David Brent twelve years on from the mockumentary The Office. Brent is now a travelling salesman, chasing his dream of rock stardom by self-financing a UK tour with his band, Foregone Conclusion.” And from the look of things, Brent has evolved as a human not even in the slightest. Life on the Road ought to be a blast.

Life on the Road is the latest of several Netflix projects Gervais has worked on. The streaming service served as the American home for Gervais’ lesser-known series Derek, and last year Gervais co-starred in the Netflix original comedy Special Correspondents, alongside Eric Bana and Vera Farmiga.

David Brent: Life on the Road premieres on Netflix on February 10. In the meantime, you can stream The Office (and the American remake) on Netflix Instant.
