Sling TV Introduces ‘Gamefinder’ To Make Watching Football Easier Than Ever

As both college football and the NFL are gearing up for their seasons, Sling TV is rolling out a new feature geared specifically towards pigskin fans. The streaming television service announced a new feature today called “gamefinder” that does  exactly what the name implies.

Users just go to sling.com/gamefinder and search for their team name, city, or state. They’ll then see the time, date, channel, and necessary Sling package to watch that game. To find all games available in a certain area, users just enter their ZIP code.

Now, football fans that know what game they want but don’t know where to find it or fans that want to watch all the action are in luck, because Sling has made it easier than ever to see where games are airing.

To celebrate the release of gamefinder, Sling is giving every Sling Orange or Sling Blue subscriber free access to the Pac-12 Network from Aug. 26 through Sept. 17.

While this feature by itself likely won’t make any sports fans sign up for the service, it does make for a good opportunity to show how good Sling is for football fans. Subscribers will get every college or NFL football game aired on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3 with Sling Orange, and the Sports Extra package at just $5 a month adds Pac-12 Networks, beIN Sports, ESPNU, SEC Network, SEC Network+, ESPNEWS, ESPN Goal Line, Stadium (previously known as Campus Insiders) and more.

Fans that want even more college football can add a Sling Blue subscription, which will get them Ivy league games on NBCSN and Big Ten, Big 12 and Pac-12 games on FOX in select markets, plus FS1 and FS2 and NFL Network, NFL games on FOX (in select markets) and NFL games in NBC (in select markets).

In short, Sling is a football paradise. Both Sling Orange and Sling Blue can be had for $40 per month, with Sports Extras just $10 per month more – and that gets you dozens of games a week.
