This weekend will be jam-packed with all the sports combat action you can stomach, with three major UFC events unfolding: Rodriguez vs. Penn (UFC Fight Night 103), TKO 37, and Invicta 21. Even better, the UFC has announced this will be a UFC Fight Pass free weekend, letting fans watch the three events as well as explore the Fight Pass archives.
The free weekend begins tonight at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time and runs through Sunday evening at midnight. All you’ll have to do get full access to the Fight Pass goodies is download the UFC App and sign up with an email address.
The live events will kick off Friday night with TKO 37: Rivals, broadcasting from Montreal, Canada. Middleweight fighters Strahinja Gavrilovic and Jonathan Vallee will headline the event, which begins at 6pm EST.
On Saturday beginning at 5pm EST, you’ll get the all-female Invicta Fighting Championship. Beamed at you from Kansas City, MO, this event will pit Australian Megan Anderson against Canadian Charmaine Tweet, with the interim Invicta FC featherweight championship on the line.
Finally, Sunday night will unleash UFC Fight Night, live from Phoenix, Arizona. Beginning at 3pm, you’ll get to watch the opening four fights of the event live streaming on Fight Pass, including brawls between strawweights Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger and Nina Ansaroff and lightweights Drakkar Klose and Devin Powell.
In addition to all that, you can spend time between the fights digging into Fight Pass’ back catalog, which includes thousands of older fights, over 11,000 historical fights, as well as original UFC programming.
In the UFC’s announcement, UFC Senior Vice-President & UFC FIGHT PASS General Manager Eric Winter said:
This is a thank you to our fans. In 2016, FIGHT PASS live-streamed over 100 fight cards live and exclusively, and we’re excited to begin the New Year by showcasing the first of many action packed weekends on FIGHT PASS. We also invite viewers to take full advantage of the FREE WEEKEND and deep-dive into the FIGHT PASS Library. FIGHT PASS has over 11,000 historical fights from 33 combat sports promotions, plus great Original series including Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight, Fightography, and Where are They Now? We believe FIGHT PASS is a must-have for combat sports fans, and are thrilled to offer this free weekend of action.
Sounds like UFC fans might want to clear their schedules.
