Can You Stream A&E Anywhere Else?

As of right now, Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW are the only services to offer the A&E live stream. Other streaming services, like PlayStation Vue, do update their offerings frequently so they may elect to carry the channel in the future.

If live streaming isn’t your concern, you may be able to watch A&E online with on-demand services like Amazon Instant Video or Netflix. You can buy some A&E shows by the episode the day after they air on Amazon. Or, you can wait until they appear free on Amazon Prime. Netflix also has A&E shows, but they don’t typically appear until about a year after they originally air. You’ll need to check out your favorites individually to know for sure.

  1. You should update this article because Amazon no longer offers current episodes, at least not for The First 48. They stopped at last season (15) after the first episode. So now the only options for watching current episodes of The First 48 are either paying for a cable subscription or having Sling TV. I’d gladly pay, if A&E would offer a reasonable option. For me, any cable subscription is not a reasonable option because of the cost.

We tried Sling but the video quality just wasn’t very good. We’re currently using Playstation Vue, which streams much better for us.
