Alone is a reality/competition show that tests the mental and physical toughness of people willing to be left alone. Although, in some seasons people are paired up and left alone together in a remote location. In these cases, people will have to travel their area separately until they find one another. Whether separate or in pairs, they are responsible for creating their own shelter, finding their own food, and dealing with the day to day struggles of being alone in a remote land. Armed only with a backpack containing a few tools and some camera gear for recording, the last man standing at the end of the season walks away with a $500,000 prize!
